We take great pride in our excursion opportunities to the mountain villages of Materuni. These villages, situated above Moshi on the slopes of Kilimanjaro, are enveloped by stunning natural scenery. They are merely a 30- 40 minute drive from Moshi, yet they offer an entirely different experience. This village, one of the most frequented near Moshi, is renowned for the stunning Materuni waterfalls and the trek leading to them. However, there are numerous additional attractions and compelling reasons to explore this area. Visitors can engage in a local coffee experience and enjoy a traditional Chagga lunch. Furthermore, one can gain insights into Chagga culture, the village's history, the various plants and trees native to the region and their uses, as well as the intricacies of coffee production.
